Our Mission
The mission of the Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA) program is to foster, educate and guide youth in the areas of Indoor, 3D and Target archery as well as safe, ethical bowhunting practices. The goal of the S3DA program is to provide archery and bowhunting opportunities for young people in after-school settings as well as with archery-affiliated clubs and businesses in the community. We provide an effective after-school archery program, focusing on Indoor 5-spot, 3D and Outdoor Target archery and the certification and tools to deliver the instruction to youth.
As a result, S3DA expects to see increased participation in 3D and target archery by youth and parent archers using compound bows and traditional archery equipment while also helping to increase participation at regional, state and national archery events. In addition, S3DA expects to help provide a basic understanding and respect for our natural resources, environment and nature, with a special emphasis on the modern wildlife conservation and regulated sport hunting.

Protecting our OUTDOOR HERITAGE is really about recruitment, retention, and re-activation, which begins by making outdoor memories that will last a lifetime.
Youth participating in S3DA events are learning life-long skills such as fair chase and ethical bowhunting, as well as wildlife conservation which are integral to the development of well-rounded outdoorsmen and women.

Join a group of other youth archers with 1 certified S3DA coach and practice 3-D, indoor target, and outdoor target archery.

College Opportunities
S3DA HAS PARTNERED WITH USA ARCHERY TO ENSURE YOUTH CAN CONTINUE TO COMPETE AT THE COLLEGIATE LEVEL.
Eligible youth enrolled at a college or university with a USA Archery Collegiate Program can work to develop fundamental skills, compete for individual, regional and national team championships and also earn Academic and All-American awards.

I completed the survey several weeks ago after the Eastern Nationals-I assume it was the same survey. I will say what I have been saying for several years. I'd love to see S3DA 3D follow the collegiate calendar Meaning 3D in the fall. so our athletes who compete in both S3DA and the USAT circuit don't have to jump back and forth between outdoor target and 3D
