S3DA Activities - Come Join the Fun!

Anyone participating in S3DA, MUST BE an ACTIVE MEMBER of an S3DA Team. All youth memberships, as well as team fees, MUST BE PAID before participating in any S3DA event. Coaches or parents/guardians can register a child to become a member of S3DA. All S3DA classes have both male and female divisions and will shoot known distance only. Age is the determining factor for S3DA teams based on the age of the archer as of January 1st of the competition year.
S3DA requires one adult member to
be an S3DA certified Basic Instructor to start and S3DA Team. Also, due to
insurance coverage requirements, an S3DA certified coach MUST be present during
any S3DA practice, as well as S3DA team events. All S3DA Teams must have
insurance to cover the venue where practicing (Must provide documented proof to
the S3DA National Office of facility/venue insurance.) S3DA provides optional
team insurance for $155 per year. Insurance coverage provided by another
organization for and S3DA Team MUST BE a minimum of $1 million in general and
professional liability insurance.

A Team is defined as a group of youth archers with a minimum of one (1) S3DA certified coach. A team can be affiliated with entities including but not limited to an archery shop, range, church, school, home school, etc. There are no school affiliation requirements.

Become A Coach
To be a coach in the S3DA organization, any interested party must attend and complete the Basic Instructor Training Class. After completing the class, Coach membership, background check fees, and SafeSport fees MUST BE PAID AND APPROVED prior to assuming the role of coach.

If you have USA Archery level 2 or above certification, you can take an online modified S3DA training class to obtain Basic Certification.
