“Coach” Dee Falks was born and raised in Texas. Dee joined the Army at the age of 18, and was an Airborne Ranger for 20 years. After retiring from the Army at the age of 38, Dee started a successful landscaping business and then in 1988 moved to Mount Juliet, TN and only a year later was introduced to archery. In 2002, Dee became the National Federation Director of the Archery Shooters Association (ASA) and in 2004 Dee sold his landscaping business so he could do archery as a full-time career. In 2008, Dee wrote and published the Level 3 NTS (Community Coach) course. Dee became a level 5 NTS coach in 2009.
